1983 Gold Colored Lincoln Cent - Coin Community Forum

kojakgold New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 04/04/2018 1:11 pm I found two pennies that are gold colored, make that three. All three are 1983Philadelphia minted. Can anyone tell me why they are this color? I'm stumped. I"ll have to upload the obverse in another post, I can't get it to upload on this one. Report this Post to the Staff

tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6108 Posts	Posted 04/04/2018 4:41 pm 1983 is one of the years where brass plating is more common so likely it is one of those. I saw a B/U roll of 1983's that had 3 of those in it and boy do they stand out. Report this Post to the Staff
