Hub doubling that creates doubling on the die enlarges the devices. So on a doubled die the devices on the die are doubled. On Machine Doubling the die is normal. After the strike, die movement damages some devices by reducing them. The damage is flat reducing the contour of the devices. Hub doubling raises with the devices enlarging them. So what is the big difference? One is common damage from a machine. A doubled die is caused by the doubling on the die. Thus the term 'doubled die '. Report this Post to the Staff
