Is this some type or mint error that is known? The part in question is within LIBERTY, between the B and E.

Also note the broken hub damage on the bottom of the '6' on the date. (Common happened on several different dies)

A broken die will leave a raised area on a coin. A broken hub issue will leave a void coin.

Yes, they are quite common, but they still have a small premium over face value because some people like collecting these. Nice find by the way bakeshady!
