I just got this Kid's toy from target. Its called Eye Clops. About 40 bucks (Of course my daughter works there so I got the standard discount). It's a 200 x Mag on your TV! I put a Morgan and the 2007 proofs in it, and all that I could get on the 40 inch LCD was (WE) in IGWT (Did not know the 'W' in we is closed at the top on the 1921 Morgan). Its incredible! Ill try to take a picture off the TV as soon as I get the digital camera back tomorrow night!

All I have to say if you need a closeup of a coin this it Great for the price.

PS Conder101: How can I tell with out opening the case, I will take pictures with the Eye Clops, But can you tell how it was damaged?

They look like small rim Cuds to me...normal and not worth a premium value.

If they are proof coins, they will have the S mint on them since 1968 (Unless they are made from West-point and they will have a W on them). There are coins with the s mint mark that are not proofs and there are some newer coins that were made from Philly that are proof coins. (IE: 1999-P Proof SBA Dollars) But the largest amount of the post 1968 that are proof were made in San Francisco.

Why go through all that long description about 1968 and West Point?

If they are Presidential dollars, which these are, ALL proofs have the S mintmark. NONE of the business strikes have the S mintmark. Those are instead P or D mint.

Any "sub-par" U.S. Mint products should be shipped back to them......otherwise they'll not know the damaged and badly handled crap they keep sending out !

OK, my initial impression of them from the first pictures was that they were crpe marks where the edge of the rim had bee dragged against something and scrpped away the "frost". but the lighting and the areas of light and shadow show that they are raised areas not scrpes. In that case I would think either finning, or more likely tiny rim Cuds as Coppercoins said.
