Might have helped to do what is always preached and commanded to do, give the date and full views of both sides, that may engender some guesses dependent upon base materials...

DrDo, no my friend it don't, for it is possible to be a common plating issue on a stinkin zinkin or an actual mechanical/human machining error on either o zincoln or a copper.

What I think you have is a need for a better picture. Of the complete obverse and reverse of the coin that would be very helpful. But if had to guess from this I hazard to say some fashion of DDD.

No the only color change is due to lighting trying to avoid glare.
