I have another 1935 that is in bad shape but I'm curious to see if anyone thinks there's something noteworthy about it. Thanks!

@Nancye1962, first welcome to CCF. Second, while an in-focus picture would be very useful, I agree with @nevol that those marks under the date are most likely just damage.

Thank you all very much for your welcomes and your thoughts! I'm sorry about the pictures. I know longer have any other way to take pictures other than my phone for the time being. My husband died almost three years ago, after a very long illness that all but wiped us out financially. I'm disabled too, but didn't get approved till this past November. Jim had no life insurance, so it's been a struggle. I hope to be able to finally get back on my feet by the fall, and when I do, a decent camera and internet are definite possibilities! Id welcome ideas on how to get better pics with my phone if anybody has any! Thank you all again for your warm welcomes!

I would like some clearer pics could be minor lamination or it could be damage but clearer pictures would help with that determination I've found a few that have splotchy Lams like this but I can't tell what's going on in the picture. What kind of phone do you have? And I'm very sorry.

1. Lots of light
2. Staying in focus is sometimes a matter of backing away from the coin a few inches and then cropping the pic to size later.
3. Use the CCF optimizer:

I'm very glad that you found us and look forward to seeing more posts.
