Odd Zinc Showing On 1994 LMC. Probably Damage But Not Sure

This one has the look of a sanded or damaged coin at first but the closer I looked the more it looked like it could be something else. A lot of spots on the coin that would normally take damage seem untouched. What do y'all think.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure your suspicions are correct. It looks like it was rubbed on a rough surface. The I is a bit odd, though- are you sure it's higher than the rim?

Numisia. It looks like it to me. I think it got hit with a hammer one time or something similar

Zinc rot. high I from strike inconsistency, most likely.

I can see why you would ask, but it has no numismatic value.
