I've wanted this date for some time and looked at quite a few examples. I finally found this one which satisfies. What grade do you think she deserves?

Nice strike and remaining luster, pretty much uninterrupted in the reverse. Looks UNC details cleaned to me. There is extensive parallel hairlining on liberty and the right obverse field. TPG could have said ms62 but it looks like it has been wiped, disturbing the obverse luster and surfaces to me.

AU-55 sharpness, but the color looks strange.

Technical Grade 55. Eye Appeal 5/10.
The lower eye appeal is due strictly to my own dissatisfaction with "market acceptable" cleaning. I like an honest toned example better, although white examples do exist in the 58+ range. Not a date that is easily located.

Smart move! 73 is NOT an easy year and it's been a long time since I've seen one come up for sale with original surfaces. I don't see any rub on the reverse except the top of the right wing. The eagles brow doesn't appear to show any signs of rub. Just typical sld strike issues-neck feathers, middle and upper portion of the left wing, and the left leg.
obverse looks like some on the left leg, a tiny bit on the cheek, the breasts maybe but the shield and liberty are hammered. It's definitely been worked on and is market acceptable. The ones with natural surfaces don't come in blast white.
I would be at 58.

I've had trouble getting images that show color accurately. These are about the best I can do; I dialed the Hue way down to get rid of that pinkish cast. In-hand the coin is white with just a hint of tone on the rim only. I agree the coin shows signs of light cleaning but is market-acceptable (must be, since I bought it). CAC agreed it's solid for AU-58.

I didn't know that CAC would certify a coin that has a market acceptable cleaning. Nevertheless, a nice SLD.
