@YesOrNo: Very nice! Thanks for sharing actual images of the coin. The bluish colour looks good - I would call it a deep teal. Have you collected the RCM's other "mask" coins?

Just looking at the loon in the new and somewhat ugly painted silver dollar set and I see on the mints website both sides of the loon are dated 2018 hmm miss print most likely.

"The coins that never were" have a great story and would make a neat conversation piece.

Quote: "The coins that never were" have a great story and would make a neat conversation piece. Gatewest Coins is offering a Combo special for the 2017 and 2018 "Coin Lore" 3-Coin sets, if anyone is interested. $429.95 for both.

Thanks Looney4Numi for the heads-up.
I like both the 2017 and 2018 3-coin sets. I'm a fan of this classic look. But I dislike the case. I don't have a big house. Such a giant yet cheap case would take one quarter of my drawer space. That's why I'm not buying the 2018 set for now.

Just like to share some of the May releases from the RCM that I just received. Happy with my choices. :)

Thanks for stirring up discussions commens IMO - May release 2018 was quite good in general- Truly something for every taste and budget - The T Rex giant coin is the best ever theme for a 1kg coin - looks menacing both in design and size...and price! No doubt though any kid would love that coin...in his her piggy bank.

@jimper, very stunning coins! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I guess you purchased them from RCM since you received them quickly. May I ask if any of these coins has a low COA number?

@jimper: Thanks for sharing your images! Great selections from the May release. The colour looks good on the Moon Mask and Dragon Boat coins - the RCM is definitely getting better at adding colour to its coins. The allegorical Borealia coin also looks very good - I'm definitely keeping it on my list for future consideration. My SD coins haven't arrived yet, but I've come to expect a delay of a week or two on delivery of new releases to my address down here in the US. Hopefully, they'll arrive next week. I look forward to seeing more of what folks have purchased from the May release!

Looks very nice. When did this coin appear. Very pricey though. 10oz for just under 3000.00 Thanks but no thanks.

I saw it this morning and it was already out of stock. And why 112 ? I think it is an error from the RCM to show it now.
