Hey thanks in advance for your help...

This coin that I purchased sounds like silver - but the edge looks to have evidence of casting? I need a second opinion on this - not all the edges have it just 3 of them... At first I thought it could be uneven cutting from a pair of shears , but I'm very suspicious - it is 6.8 grams , perhaps cast out of something that still gives a ring like coppernickel? , thanks for your opinions

The weight looks right for 2R, and the random cut edge appearance is similar to other Seville cobs ca 1600-1650, not a casting line IMO. Compare this 1R

Probably seawater corrosion. It looks real enough to me, but maybe an expert will jump in.

I'm far from an expert, but it looks legit to me.
