I'm trying to put together a complete set of Series 1928 $20 FRN notes that includes one each regular issue and star, from all 12 districts, with the regular issue in MS and the star in decent circulated condition. Just finished the San Francisco pair (I'd grade the star VF-25).

That's going to be one sweet collection. Nice notes and good luck with the rest.

They look really good!
I didn't know they had star notes back then, so I just learned something new.
Thanks for sharing.
Rest in Peace

Good luck with 1928 $20 numerical set Mr.Frog.

San Francisco is supposed to be the easiest and Boston and Dallas the toughest.

Stever - Along with New York, Cleveland and Chicago, SF is quite common in high CU grades for the regular run, but I have found the star to be pretty tough in any grade.
