This Jefferson is up for sale on ebay. So far no bids.
Do you guys think it's worth his asking price?

I wouldn't mind adding one of these to my collection.
But just don't know much about them. I just became a
Jefferson nickel fan

You're saying it grades around AU-50?
Then yeah it's a little too much money because the cost of certification will also add to it.

I offered him $105 but he declined.

I bought one for my CAPS album.
I maybe would go $125 - $130 if I didn't already have one.
Rest in Peace

Nice looking example. But honestly, I'd wait for one already in the NGC or PCGS and let someone else pay that certification.

I'd want to see a better picture of the date first.

Looks like a solid AU, not FS. The overdate looks right, but a close up would help. Pretty nice looking coin.

I agree with others here, he needs a better picture of the date.
Rest in Peace

Seller says nearly Full Steps; I say he's full of Elephant dung . I would pass but everyone has their own opinion .

Thank you everyone for your replies.

I ended up passing.

That's what I strongly agree with. I don't like the waiting times and paying the grading fee. Don't you need to pay extra since it's an overdate?

That's the first thing that came into my mind. It does look like the overdate, but just can't really say 100% from those pictures.
