Found this in a coin roll 1965 Kennedy half with a very thin but rim to rim die crack. Starts beside the I in the motto and goes straight past the L in liberty and through the bottom of the I and back to the rim .

Doin well crazybo how about yourself? You are correct I would love to have the coin from about 100 later . I didn't see any on Cuds on coins so maybe they caught it. And most definitely not from a sms. But still special to me lol.

The reason I ask is that it looks like a struck through on that area? (Across the 'I')

1965-Kennedy-With-Rim-To-Rim-Die-Crack it totally amazes me how you guys see things like that. It looks like the I took a hit where the crack crosses itbut I may be totally wrong.

Note how after the 'I' the field is no longer showing the raised edge? On the 'I' you can see where the metal moved a bit?

Kind of reminds me of another coin posted somewhere else about a piece of debris that was struck onto a coin:

On the 'I' on your coin?

Just so I understand coop, you're saying the crack stops at the I? And the rest is a hit? Or the I is. Struck through?you are quick you posted that while I was typing . Ok I understand now what you are saying. Thank you. (Still amazes me the things you folks on here know and see)

Now that you mention it coop the More I look at it I'm thinking the whole line is struck through foil. The side Of the line towards the center has somewhat of that look to it.
