This was one of the first coins I purchased from a coin shop back when I was new to the hobby around 2012/2013. You could say it was my gateway drug.
It's an Alexander Tetradrachm from Side, possible lifetime issue (c. 325-320 BC). Whenever I think I've found everything about it, it reveals another secret. The banker's marks are very similar to those often found on sigloi, and very rarely appear on coins of this type. As well as the obvious marks there's a second set of slightly cruder stamps. I'm fascinated that someone took the time to counter mark this coin so carefully in a way which compliments the design. Even the test cut on the top has been done with the greatest care.
The shop owner gave me a huge discount (probably realising I'd be a repeat customer) and I've never looked back.
