Hi all, submitted 19 older thai coins recently to NGC. Take your best guess out of the 19, how many come back straight graded. My first time as well....lets have some fun and hopefully soon it will be graded!

I'm hoping for 19 out of 19 to be optimistic!! I know some thai collectors lately have had some terrible luck but it could be they were unrealistic (obvious corroded/cleaned coins that they thought would grade)

Forgive me, but how could anyone possibly guess how many will straight grade without seeing the coins?
Rest in Peace

You are forgiven, Frog. That was my question too.

Might as well throw a dart. Dang. I hit 21 of 19

@coinfrog @moxking Sorry I didn't take pictures of the coins but was hoping people would just guess a number and let us all see what happens! I hope I'm not like 0 for 19 haha.

Blind guessing is much more fun imo. I'll go with 15/19.

@999fine I can't take pics using my crappy cell phone camera so the pics would not have done any good. Wish me luck lol.....the coins are scheduled for grading so anytime now I will find out how well or bad I did! 19 coins......400+ in grading fees so.......yikes!

After a long wait, coins are in quality control, that means being slabbed and checked one more time before shipping/imaging and putting the grades into the system. So that means by next week I could get my coins...........welll drum rolll...........got a email that one of the coins needs conservation BUT they did note a grade for that coin........MS 62 for the 1897 10 satang!! Now here comes the hard part.....conservation is another 20 business day......so another month of waiting! ARGH!
