some pics it looks like a possible die crack at STATES to me..other pics not so much....

Cant see anything at TED(in united?), You only show one pic and its not clear.

Or the initials?

See those lines radiating like spokes of a wheel? That is die flow lines. In later die states metal is moving outwards. Lines like these, indention's , stretching happens, it is the process of Die Deterioration.

A mentioned, the die was in a VLDS when you coin was struck. Weird stuff happens when it get old. Ask any senior?
