The obverse needed more metal to fill the die, so the reverse suffered the strength of strike. This happens so often, thus the explanation already prepared. Report this Post to the Staff

Mr Coop.But in my opinion under the reasonable striking process, if the reverse suffered the strength of strike, then the reverse device should be a sharper design, but at present the observe design is more conspicuous.
