Going through my wheat pennies and I found this...what the heck happened to this coin? It is a 1951 D (I think) Wheat penny...the back is normal, but the front is all messed up. As always, thank you for your time.

I'm no expert but it would be easier for people to tell if you post pics of the whole coin front and back

It might be struck through a late stage die cap. Or not. Pictures of the full coin would help determine that. Nice close up pics though!

Appears to be a struck through of a late stage die cap. An honest to goodness mint error! Read here!

So should I have someone look at it...coin dealer? Grade it? Would it be worth getting graded? Is it more valuable since it's a Wheat? This is my first true "mint error"...and as Rickki Booby says: "I don't know what to do with my hands!!"
