burfle23 Pillar of the Community United States 517 Posts	Posted 05/12/2018 10:04 am I am an EAC (Early American Coppers) member since 2002, a member of the Liberty Seated Collectors Club (LSCC) and an ANA member. I have been "published" on Coin Week (15 articles), EAC's Penny-Wise, the C4 Newsletter, the LSCC Gobrecht Journal and have an article in the May ANA Numismatist, primarily on my and my Team's research into the latest deceptive struck US coin counterfeits. My journey started in the fall of 2015 when another EAC member posted on our FB site Copper Notes a very deceptive counterfeit 1798 "S-158" large cent in a TPG holder; since then we have developed a process for analyzing and evaluating suspect "varieties" and have documented ones from my 1787 Mass "4C" Half Cent to the 1836 Gobrecht "dollars" and Seated dollars.
