Edit-Yes it looks like the top image on the obverse (perfectly normal) and the reverse has no image and a lip. Also, I'm talking about a nickel

Sorry Grace, no.

The obverse is just your typical 1985 nickel. the reverse is shaped like the underside of a frisbee (it has a lip, meaning not PMD)

Thanks Coop! I found out it's from a magic trick!...How much would it be worth?

Circulation value. Probably Zero or if it could be passed off as face. As a Magicians coin, it a novelty item. These vary in prices. I haven't seen any in stores lately, but I'm sure there is a market for them. Kind of nice just to keep as a trick to use on youngsters. Place a Cent in the reverse and show the heads first and flip coin in hand and "now its a different denomination." Amazes young ones. But make sure to keep from spending it. You received it as a spent coin that probably someone didn't realize it when he spent it. So I would keep it in a 2X2.

Hi,

Having one portion of a Magicians coin when a complete one can be purchased for between 5 and 10 bucks is worth zero.

It is interesting but without value. Although it is part of a Magician's coin it is simply a damaged coin at this point.

Thanks,
Bill
