People usually look on the edges of coins to find doubling. But look at the centers of the devices. Like on your coin you see MD on one side, and a normal edge on the other side of the device. Take a second look at the example I posted. Both edges are complete, but the affected spread area is on the central areas of the devices. "Look for the spread, not the edges of devices." Look for enlarged devices that are equally spread, not just one device. On the newer coins, look for distortion of the devices like an over inflated inner tube. Device distortion. Forget the edges of devices. All you find there is Machine Doubling.
