The coin definitely shows Die Deterioration. Being able to see other areas of the coin would help, though.

This isn't a Doubled Die. This is Die Deterioration (worn die). You can see the die flow lines on your coin.

Die wear is a gradual process. As the die ages the flow lines we often see on the fields of a coin start back on the edges of the dies the devices edge facing hit edges are first to be affected. This is a subject I'm working on now for a new thread. So I'll save this subject for later. But the breakdown of the dies is gradual. This example is extreme, but the dies still have a lot more coins to be struck before retiring. No premium for this. But it shows me your eye and understanding is improving. Keep looking. They are out there.
