@Kaitlenmiller19, first welcome to CCF. Second, your dime has damage on the front as noted, but also on the back (especially around the first two letters of DIME). You can spend this one as it is only worth face value.

Note it is out of round. A sign for alteration on a coin. Probably squeezed with side cut pliers. PSD

It's Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint), not an error or variety. You see the pushed and flattened metal. It's out of round, which means it's damaged. Worth face value.
