Are you talking about the linear feature that starts at the rim below the mint mark and then ends at the bottom of the hair? That looks like a scratch to me--you can see where the rim has been slightly damaged. It is incuse, so it is coin damage. The 1943 looks like it was dropped flattening the rim a bit on the edge. Report this Post to the Staff
