Your coin shows some sort of damage. What caused it is uncertain to me, maybe a rock tumbler? The lack of a rim and the overall polished appearance tells me it is damage and not a Mint error. It is interesting looking, but that's about it.

First thing I thought when I saw it was rock tumbler too Spruett. Imagine a Zincoln in a tumbler. You'd wind up with a little silver slug.

LOL. I kinda want to get a cheap rock tumbler and throw a bunch of Zincolns in there to see what happens.

1960s Lincoln Cent that went through a rock tumbler. Just damage, not an error.

In the late 50"s early 60's as kids we would take cents and grind them down on the sidewalk by hand so they would work as a dime in a coke machine.

It's Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint). It's only worth face value unfortunately.
