That is kinda interesting--don't think that I have seen that before.

Wow! That's very interesting! I would keep that in a 2x2 coin flip, because of how cool and unusual it is.

I'm wondering if there were Die Clashes in the steps, or if they went too crazy with the die polish and decided to polished the steps as well? Definitely an interesting piece!

What the actual heck? Hmm. I wonder why it would all be lined up with the columns... I would keep it for sure.

No those are heavy die scratches. The die over polished (Because the FG and the Statue is almost missing. So when they worked over the die, after the thickness of the fields had been reduced, the die scratches show on the field areas and the sub field areas. Not a good thing for the die. No premium.

Coop, that's true. Not a good thing for the die, but it's still worth keeping, regardless of if it's worth something or not.

Not sure why they polished the steps. Maybe one of those after lunch break things. In any case I'm going to put it in a flip. Searched close to a million LC's and I've never seen this before, so if nothing else, it is an extremely rare occurrence.

11997755, it's almost like someone was in a hurry and polished the die quickly.

Well I can tell you, they didn't intend to. Keep in mind the mid devices are deeper in the die that the fields. So they have been working on the thinned fields, but they also touched the steps.

Thank you John. 5 Million + and you haven't seen one. Moving it from the 2x2 and putting in an air tight.

I wonder if it is worth getting Mike Diamond's opinion as to rarity on this one? I don't like to bother him for routine stuff that we can handle, but he might add it to the error-ref website.
