I'm thinking yes legit. Characteristics differ with larger clips compared to small ones. Thinking the reduction in mass makes for less flow outwards.

The Blakesley effect often differs as well. Sometimes barely visible if at all. Thanks, Doug.

My opinion still says that it's a genuine Clip. I don't agree at all that it's fake. My opinion is not going to change, unless proven otherwise. Pictures of the edge would help.

Edit: it's definitely a geniune Clip. It's not fake. Willburton, you need to wear gloves if you're going to hold the coin like that. You're going to permanently stain your coin with fingerprints if you keep doing this.
