TNG Bedrock of the Community United States 10284 Posts	Posted 07/02/2018 10:32 am I do respect and admire the enthusiasm of error and variety collectors as much as the next guy but I have a suggestion. I don't know if other members go to see this section as often as I do but I imagine it is a very common page to see what is newly posted. There seems to be a lot of activity in the doubled dies and error questions etc. in the past year. More than ever before from my observations. These topics seem to be taking up a good portion of new posts topics. My idea was good for both goose and gander, perhaps there is a way to separate new topics posted from the Sub-Forums US Modern Variety and Error Coins and give those their own real estate. Those interested would find it easier to follow and those that are not would find non error related coin collecting topics more easily. Just a thought, I am sure it would take considerable work to develop a page and direct such posts appropriately, but to me it seems almost necessary. Here's the section I'm talking about that I think would benefit with a third column. Thanks for considering and taking the time for your thoughts on it. TNG Bedrock of the Community United States 10284 Posts	Posted 07/02/2018 1:56 pm If you mean this page, I have never or very rarely used it. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...t_topics.asp It doesn't look like it would make any difference looking over that list. The one I would look for any new topics appears at the bottom of almost any page. Perhaps instead of three across, they could be three down? ~ or even a fourth and make it a 2x2? Hey, it's just a thought. For people who are not so interested in errors and varieties, they would basically see the same list in either place. Maybe for some of the non error people, this is a deterrent to reading recent or following up on new topics since they are overwhelmed by the error ones. I personally find myself glancing at just the most recent three or four at the top for something new rather than the whole short list ( View Last 100 New Topics ) or ( View Last 100 Active Topics ). Mostly though, to be honest, I just look at topics I have participated in ( Recent Topics ) on my profile page. Report this Post to the Staff
