Strike throughs are pretty common for the 84 LMC but I haven't seem one rippled like this.

What you are seeing is the remains of a clash event

Your picture is not as clear as it should be and it is difficult to tell what it is, are the lines raised? or flat? they resemble finger prints.

As stated they could be clashed dies, though I'm not seeing what area they could come from on the obverse?

I don't have any overlays available at the moment but here is a clash of mine with that clash remnant spread over that general area. As you can see clash marks can jump around.

It could be Clash marks, but better pictures will tell for sure.

Looks more like die damage. Note it also affects the cornice as well. That tells me it was not a single edged contact mark. Maybe a three/four pointed tool. Die damaged. Dent or gouge.

The anomalies on the cornice are incuse thus PSD. They are not related to the anomalies in the bays
