Since the pre-1964 thread is moving along a bit slower now that we've reached the Barber era, I thought it would be fun to see how far we can go in the other direction and bring in some more participants. Starting with 1965, we will try to post all the coins for each year, including NCLT and commemoratives (because why not?). Just like the other thread, no need to post in denominational order, but we need to try to complete each year before moving onto the next. If we cannot finish a year within a week, we can start a new year.

Let's start 1965 with the SMS:

How-Close-Can-We-Get-To-A-Complete-Set-Of-Post-1964-US-Coins?
We still need:
1965 LMC
1965 Jefferson nickel
1965 Roosevelt dime
1965 Washington quarter
1965 Kennedy half dollar

Sounds like fun. I will be ready with some Ikes.

Thank you everyone!

@jst1dreamr: We're actually still on 1965. We need to wait until all the coins for each year have been posted or a week has passed, whichever is sooner. There's only 3 more coins left for 1965, and then we can start with your 1966 SMS. Those three coins are:
1965 Roosie
1965 Washington quarter
1965 JFK half

I think this is a great idea for a thread

Here's a 1965 quarter in heavily circulated condition:
