Thank you, the devices cover 90% of my'72-S 1c DDO LMC. It looks like a 10c date with the 7 leaned back and the 2 forward.

The affected area is the head which is the deepest part of the die. Thus the only I can think if was grease preventing that area to form.

Nothing doubled. More like MD. If you can check on the left side of the columns to see if it is pushed on that side. The only Doubled die on the statue is on the 1982 zinc DDR:

Thanks Mr. Coop. I think 1974's has problem with the die. I have some of UC 1974's and I check to see any thing like this. 2 of them happened like this. Disregard my question Sir. Thanks again for your big helps Mr. Coop
