If it is a regular business strike (a circulating coin) without a mint mark,
then it is only worth 10c as there were about 425 million struck.

proof coins have mirrored fields and frosted devices, this coin is a normal business strike coin struck in Philadelphia, and is only worth face value
Rest in Peace

These are Proof coins. Notice the fields of the coins are very highly reflective, the details are quite sharp and the rims are very square where they reach the field level.
Also, most Proofs after 1968 have the S mintmark, before, they have none.

Proof 1968-S (and if it has no S)

This is a regular Business struck 1968-D
