I have put together 2 pics together one of a normal quarter and one of which is in question. Something looks extra and I have it pointed out.

Is it in the middle of the design? If it is, than it could be a minor Doubled Die Reverse.

Perhaps the tiniest amount of wear causing a rounded corner rather than a sharp corner on the die? I'll be interested to hear if others think that there is a premium for this.

It also could be easily just damage, but we'll see.

I was thinking the same thing Spence but also remember cooper telling me once that it would not have defined edges and would look more like a welder. Hopefully he'll chime in an a sec.

The first one looks like a contact mark or damage. The second is just part of the design.

Doubled dies on these newer quarters almost always have the doubling at the exact center of the coin. For the Ozark Riverways quarters, this would be the cellar window.

Wexler currently lists 6 DDRs all in this spot. I have a couple other ones that aren't listed so there are some unlisted ones out there.

It is too far from center to be a DDR. So I feel it's a new starting die chip.
