Is This 1974 D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC A Cud Mintmark And Partial T In Liberty Or Damage?

oyaji New Member United States 46 Posts	Posted 08/09/2018 04:18 am I found this 1974 D LMC in my pocket change and I noticed the D mintmark look like a Cud and the letter T in LIBERTY appear to be a partial like the number 7. Looking closer Abe's lips were black so I thinking maybe the coin is damaged and not an error coin. Any thoughts, suggestions? Report this Post to the Staff

That is probably the result of a broken post that makes the inner part of the D The letter T may have been partial Grease Filled Die, but looks like that part of the T might be folded over the center section. The D was done at the mint. Everything else appears to be PMD. Report this Post to the Staff
