Second, if you are meaning that crescent-shaped incuse line that stretches from the rim by the letter T down to the back of Abe's neck, then this looks like a scratch to me. Just damage-not a variety or error. Also, I'm not sure that the 1909 LWC is considered a semi-key in the series. And also no lamination or corrosion in the scratch like I usually see in a PMD especially from a coin this age. By the way this is the 09 VDB not the P is why I consider it a semi. Thanks for the insite. Sold this brownie today for $12 and loved it. My first wheat sale after my 5000 lot fiasco but still finding a plethora of machine errors.... Report this Post to the Staff

PMD/PSD all the way. Also, before you go ahead and sell any other supposed 'error' coins I suggest you ask the members here whether or not it is an error. It could save you quite a lot of embarrassment. The damaged coin I showed selling for $12 was sold from my category of Other Errors /Machine Errors....in which my customers are fully informed to the best of my knowledge of what the are bidding on.
