Certainly looks like a late Æ
Like Gothic 6th century late !
But the reverse looks early 5th century late
And the legend ?
Well I dunno
Although I have a hunch

Sellers description
Late Roman Nummus
0.58 grams 10mm

I'd chalk it up as barbarian pseudo-imperial gibberish?

I was reading about coins similar to this yesterday it might be 5th century Vandal imitating Honorius.

Well I do like the sound of that idea
The odd admixture left me thinking it was some sort of early Gothic imitation
The portrait is primitive but not sloppily executed
I thought it might even indicate a beard ?
An imitation of Johannes ?
He did produce a similar reverse type

DN HONOR ... AVG? Clearly an imitation, late 4th-early 5th century or thereabout. More appealing than most. Imitations of this period have not been studied as thoroughly as those of an somewhat earlier time. In his 1911 work, Wroth attributed a number of imitations of Honorius and Valentinian III with various Victory reverses in the BM collections to a "Vandalic period" based on reported African and Sicilian provenance. Scholars today are less inclined to make the Vandalic association.

I used to collect Roman imitations. I would have been quite happy with such a charming portrait in my collection!

That is a neat little coin @FR. Sorry that I have nothing to add.

Looks like a beard on that one. He is one of mine that has been attributed to Johannes

I think a blundered Honorius legend is the most likely
But after searching for anything that might look remotely similar stylistically
I found this one
