When a proof is found in circulation it is called an impaired proof.

Good find Mintmarks!
It's always fun to find proofs in circulation.
I've found a couple Kennedy halves in the last couple months, and even though they were given to me at the bank, they were unexpected.
Here's one of the Kennedys.

Thank you for the information and I stand corrected. I have never heard of or read about the term "impaired proof" and have been a hobby collector for many years. That's what I like most about this forum. You can always learn something new.

Always nice to find some "S" mm coins in circulation. I myself have put some clad "S" mm ATB Quarters in circulation. Yes I know I am losing money, but it is locally and fun.
