https://www.ebay.com/itm/50-Silver-...123332389787I don't understand what he is trying to say here. That his great descendant bought these rolls and put them inside these paper rolls? Ha ha. What is that paper even supposed to be? Some fantasy paper $50 bill? Edit: Typo Edited by Sheldon Overton Baby 08/29/2018 8:36 pm

A private listing also, to hide the shills bidder identity. Red flags everywhere. It is my understanding, paper rolls didn't exist in the 19th century (how many have you seen?), but anyone can print up anything these days.

11 private bidders . Probably shill bidders . I sure hope a newbie doesn't loose his shirt and pants on this scam .

gunna go for big bucks.. although I don't believe this auction for 1 second.. the photos of toned enders looks better than the rolls with flashy white morgans claiming to be 100 years old..

I don't like the toning on one of the end Morgans. The cross-hatched pattern on one coin looks like it toned while in contact with a mint bag, which would not happen in this roll. My conclusion is that this toned coin was put into the roll more recently and thus the product is not honest. Who knows, there might be Eisenhower dollars in the middle (no offence meant to J-Buck)....

"I have the check and the bank stamp to verify." But wait....it was paid for with "100 in gold coins".
This entire story is complete rubbish.

100% scam and some uninformed idiot out in Coinland is gonna get their clock cleaned!
Shades of "The Bullion & Exchange Bank" machine crimped CC end coin rolls a few years back that were being sold by a scammer out of Utah.

What is with the Wheaties in the picture? Do they come with the listing too or are those just for decoration... This listing made me smile.

The story is quite imaginative. At least give the seller credit for literary skills, which is added to the musical skills claimed in the listing.
So his grandfather's great-grandfather was so taken by these rolls of dollar coins that he immediately exchanged them for the gold he had in his pocket. They have been in the family now for nearly 140 years, untouched. Believe it or not

Seller could win an Oscar for that listing. That roll could be a movie prop too
