I found 1973 penny, yellow in color and is magnetic on the rim only, but penny is not magnetic in the center, can not find any information on it, thinking possible planchet from another country, does anyone know if the mint strikes coins for other country,

Canada strikes coins for many other countries but to see
what you have, you are going to need to supply pictures
before anyone can help.

please post pics of both sides of the coin and if you can, supply the weight of the coin to help determine what it is.

Here is a picture of the coin, both sides, I'm taking the picture with my webcam and I'm holding it with a small magnetic, these pictures were taken at 90 degrees, Not sure what to make of this coin, I have over 500.00 dollars in pennies and nothing like this as every is come up. The penny is yellow and in thought it was just a proof coin, was checking coins with a magnetic and it was not magnetic in the core, but is magnetic on the rim, unsure why.

Anybody have an idea, it would be nice to know what you guys think.

Hard to tell from those pictures (should be cropped and enlarged)
so I am going to take a guess and say the cent is incased in
some sort of betzel and plated to be used as a piece of jewellery.
This would account for the magnetic rim.
Larger and clearer pictures would sure help though.

I agree with JimmyD. It is in some sort of bezel, and it's been plated.
