Previously trueviewed by PCGS and was also a former ANACS coin. Cracked it for an upgrade and submitted to NGC for grading. What do you think NGC graded this coin? This one will be interesting I am sure.

The dark toning in the fields appears to be hiding some damage.

AU-50 wouldn't be a surprise, but to me this is a details coin whether NGC says so or not.

If one of them gave it a details designation they're a balloon head. That's not PMD @5:45 on the reverse.

No chance in your mind that the blotchy discoloration could be some sort of environmental damage?

They don't look like depressions eating into the coin in the photos.

I'm certainly looking forward to the results on this one. I'm a bit surprised, given your extensive postings of choice high grade coins, that you would invest another grading fee on a circulated example like this with such a dodgy appearance.

I will reveal each TPG's grade in 48 hours to give everyone a shot. this one was in my old circulated type album. I believed it would upgrade and wanted to maximize the sell value. Stay tuned

AU50. The surfaces are probably not original but they are market acceptable.
The void on the reverse at K5-K6 might be due to a defective planchet (note the die-crack extending north); the nearly-symmetrical reverse rim dents at K3-K4 and K7-K8, probably not.

I'm in the AU (probably -53) camp. As for being designated DETAILS (or not) for me that requires an "in hand" evaluation.
