No they still do nothing to aid the fight against counterfeits however they got an award right this time! Congratulations to our own SPP for being recognized by the RCNA. https://www.rcna.ca/potter.phpRoger, you work hard and play hard! I have had the pleasure to watch your rise in the numismatic community with unending pleasure. I am thrilled to call you friend! Congratulations on the well deserved recognition! Mike Marshall

Can anyone tell us the article that won the award?

Well deserved! Perhaps the title of this thread could be changed to something a little more positive and congratulatory. Any thread with RCNA in the title tends to make viewers hit the snooze button before they even read the thread, add to that a disparaging tone and many hundreds will want to miss reading a significant thread. *** Staff edit: we agree! ***

Thanks Mike (and everyone else)... writing is a big part of my career, and so far it has been a great marriage. The observation skills of a geologist, analytical tools of a scientist and the passion of bringing both to a fantastic hobby. I am humbled to be on that list of excellent numismatic writers.
My only regret is that I don't have more time to write about coins...
