I am a real newbie and unexperienced in this world. I found some interesting coins and I don't know where to begin. Take for instance I found a 2010 Wyoming d quarter with a mistake on the strike where it says In God We Trust and the g is missing on God. What do I do with such a coin

Probably a struck through error. Grease fills in the die and the coins are not struck on that device.

This happens a lot. From one devices being affected to almost nothing visible.

Little interest in small accumulations of grease, the the more of a strike is prevented, then more interest.
