Ok this 1960 D one cent looks like small date 9 is even with the 1 and 0. Also this coin has two Die Chips one on B and the second is on reverse on the S. What you guys thinks.

I am no expert but it does appear that you might be right about large date and that you are correct about both die chips.

Note the ding in the 6, that is MDD, master Die Doubling, is on all dies that way. Need to look for RPM's. On http://www.coppercoins.com starting with #100 and going to 136 are the listings for small date RPMs

I was just looking at price guide, numismedia,

It shows a MS 65 RD, 1960 D small date is valued at $18.00.

What grading service were you thinking of using?

It might cost more to grade it than it is worth.

General rule of thumb... unless your coin is worth 150.00 then you will not recoup what you put out for the grading process.

I have tons of 1960s that look like yours I would never send to be graded. Most are rpms. There are a ton.
