not a complete noob to coins but this one has me stumped
I do see DDD but I also see notches and more. What do you guys think?

I think there's both Machine Doubling and Die Deterioration there, no DDR.

Great example of Machine Doubling, and the die appears to be deteriorating too. A full pic of the reverse would help.

Yes, that is a great example of Machine Doubling. I'd save it as a reference for the future when you find MD examples.

The double dies on them would be in the centers of the design area.

Note the hub doubling locations and they show markers that are not on these areas. So don't confuse the hub doubling areas and the marker locations. (which could be on any part of the coin)
