I'm looking for help identifying this ancient coin. Its about 30 mm x 26 mm and weighs 13 grams. I think its copper or bronze. Any help is appreciated even if its just who's on the coin. Thanks

For comparison:https://cNGCoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=270874

Also close, listed as Ariarathes V Eusebes Philopater, struck "in the name and types of Antiochos VII":

I have some concerns about this coin. From the pictures, it looks like there are some casting artifacts, especially on the reverse. The surface is a bit mushy and it looks like there's some pitting. Could you take a picture of the edge?

At 13 grams the coin is @4 grams too light, which concerns me a bit. However I don't see any casting lines or file marks around the edge and the strike and details look OK. It appears to be genuine IMO.

The edge looks good. I couldn't find any bronzes of this size, though, only silver tetradrachms. The difference in weight could be accounted for by the difference in density between these two metals.

Looks like EVERGETON / ANTIOCHOU BASILEOS (Benefactor King Antiochus), "benefactor" being an honorific granted to Antiochus VII. I think Bob has pretty much nailed it with the CNG auction listed. There is some light pitting on both sides of OP's coin but it looks pretty nice.

It came back from NGC a month or so ago, took a while for me to get around to sending it in. NGC decided it wasn't genuine.

@dw171, thank you so much for following up on this thread with the answer from NGC. While not necessarily absolute, it is really nice to have their opinion too.
