Are you sure that yours is out of spec? With regard to cleaning, of course the best answer is not to, but a soak in pure acetone might remove the (ink?) stain near the rim between the date and the word TRUST. Unless I'm missing something, this coin should be worth $4-$5, mostly based on the silver content rather than condition. buelow New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 09/30/2018 3:57 pm i Weighed against seven other Kennedy half dollars they all weighed 11.3 this coin for sure weighs 11.7 now if scale is off not sure but there is still a difference in weight between the other half dollars on same scale.
