Got this interesting medal by Mazzola last week from a dealer and has become one of my favorite pieces in my collection! While not a coin it does depict something which is very interesting. An extract from the C.O.A/info slip that came with the medal " ...One side of the medallion has been copied from a disk found in a Langobeard grade...this antique jewel dates from the 7th century and it is preserved in the National Archeological Museum in Cividale"
