Also, I would suggest that the grader who called this BN instead of RB was having a bad day, but I claim no expertise in grading (your opinions welcome; it's a PCGS64). (Photo from vendor.) This is part of what will probably be my last collecting quest--to compose, at a reasonable cost, a decent set of uncirculated Lincolns (just one per year) from 1909 to 1919. The "at a reasonable cost" part of that may keep it from happening, but I'll keep looking for bargains. Report this Post to the Staff

Purchased a couple Morgan dollars: First up - beautiful, blast white, PL surface 1887 "gator eye" in an NGC 64 holder. 1883 O, raw, in same condition as above. 1923 Peace, raw - blast white, semi PL surfaces 1925 Peace, raw - white with very slight gold toning 1909 IHC, raw - fiery orange and dark, mint state - probably would not holder because of the color, but WOW. 1909 Lincoln - raw, unc, hints of red, but brown. Just a nice UNC first year of issue. 1917 D Lincoln - raw, will grade BN, but some red left. Probably an MS62 or 63 coin - slightly soft strike. 1920 D Lincoln - raw, will grade BN, but some red left. SUPERB strike for date/mintmark - an upgrade for my UNC Lincoln set. 1954 - raw, blast white, bright satin surfaces .....and branching out into another series. All Walkers.... 1937 S - Unc, blast white, full head 63 or 64 1939 - Unc, blast white, full head 63 or 4 1940 - same 1941 - same 1941 - AU? Slightly soft obverse strike 1942 - Unc, blast white, full head, slightly soft reverse strike 63 or 4 1942 - AU? Slightly soft obverse strike 1943 - Unc, blast white, full head 63 or 4 1944 - Unc, blast white, full head 63 or 4 1945 - Unc, blast white, full head 63 or 4 1947 - Unc, blast white, full head, slightly soft reverse strike 63 or 4 ....and... 1898 V nickel - found by my wife's boss in her purse. Among the coins were 5 and 10 Reichspfennig from the Reichskreditkassen (these two types are the only one so I got this set complete instantly) and 1/2 Silbergroschen from Prussia, which is in a pretty good shape.
