Great additions MrPink, NumisEd and Dearborn! And congrats, Dearborn, on both of those dollars coming back as 70's.

This beauty just arrived from my wonderful friend choppedtriumphs - a Daniel Carr overstamped 1911-S Buffalo nickel. It was a "freebie" he tossed in as lagniappe on another deal we made. I struggle to find the words to express my appreciation, gratitude, and admiration for Joe, as he is the most righteous of people with whom I've done business here on the CCF. I am literally stunned by his generosity. And there is so much more that I could tell, but that will wait for another post.

Thanks, Errers! Choppedtriumphs first got me interested in Daniel Carr / Moonlight Mint creations, and I'll always have him to thank (or something like that!) for introducing me to this realm of numismatics. Choppedtriumphs is an absolutely righteous and upstanding member of our community and I am very happy to have made his acquaintance.

All great additions! I don't get here as often as I want, but that leaves a lot more entries I get to see at one time. Congratulations to all. Some beautiful stuff here

Nice Daniel Carr buffalo, Hondo! I've been considering getting one of his Morgan or Peace fantasy dollars, but haven't pulled the trigger on that. And, nice silver proof sets, Dearborn, and a reminder I need to order mine!

I received a couple more upgrades for my classic commemorative complete set today. I'm happy with both of these, and once again got them at auction for well-under Greysheet bid (over 12% under in both cases). First is a PCGS MS67 Robinson commemorative. PCGS pop in 67 is 111, with 19 in 67+ and a single graded 68. This one is fairly evenly toned on the obverse and reverse, with a little reddish toning along some of the rim. The other is a 1949 PCGS MS67 Booker T. Washington commemorative. PCGS pop in 67 is 51, with 6 in 67+ and a single example in 68. There are a couple of spots on the obverse which are the only distractions in my mind, and are far less noticeable in hand than in this pic.
