Thanks, Dearborn. I'm getting close to wrapping up the certified ASEs.

Wheaties had a promotion in the fifties. There were about 15 different coins packaged in cereal boxes. There was an album you could send for. It appears that most of the coins out there are in albums. This example looks pristine in original package. It's a Ceylon 1/2 Piastre - can't see date, but I'm nearly certain it is 1949.

Quote:On ebay I chanced upon a Capital plastic holder with a complete set of George V nickels and many looked to be in very nice condition... Outstanding! Just acquired some coins on ebay. Combined shipping, so a couple interesting bits, one large coin for my belated 1000th post giveaway, and two other coins that really piqued my curiosity. Could be nothing, could be cool. I am just waiting for my shipping confirmation to start posting seller's pictures. There is one coin in particular where I really want to see what the pros here think.
